Interactive Elements You Can Add
Step-by-Step Tutorial
Access the Quiz Pro Interactive Video Tool
Start by logging into your Egurukul instructor account and navigate to your course dashboard.
Navigation Path: Dashboard > New Course > Publish (Down Arrow) > Legacy Mode
Once in Legacy Mode, locate the Quiz Pro option in the menu bar and select "Add New".
From the content types list, choose "Interactive Video".
Add Your YouTube Video
In the Interactive Video editor, go to the "Upload Video" tab and select the "Add YouTube Video" option.
Paste the URL of your YouTube video and click "Add". The video will load into the editor.
Add Interactive Elements
Switch to the "Add Interactions" tab. Here you can add various interactive elements at specific timestamps in your video.
Position the video playhead at the point where you want an interaction to appear, then choose an interaction type from the toolbar.
Pro Tip: Add questions at key learning moments to check understanding, or provide additional resources when complex topics are introduced.
Configure Interaction Settings
Each interaction type has specific configuration options:
- Questions: Add multiple choice, true/false, or fill-in-the-blank questions
- Information: Display text, images, or links at specific points
- Navigation: Create clickable hotspots that jump to different video segments
- Multimedia: Embed images, audio clips, or even other videos
Configure each element's appearance time, duration, and behavior.
Preview and Publish
Use the preview function to test your interactive video. Check that all elements appear at the right time and function properly.
Once satisfied, click "Save" to add the interactive video to your course content.
Important: Make sure to set completion criteria if you want the system to track student progress through the video.
