To use YouTube videos as content for your quizzes, you'll need to access the video transcript. Here's how to find and copy manually YouTube transcripts for past in Content Box for Quiz creation:

Desktop Users (YouTube Website)

Open the Video: Go to the YouTube website in your web browser and open the video you want to view the transcript for.
Expand the Description: Underneath the video title and channel name, you will see the video description. Click on "...more" or "Show more" to expand the full description box.
Find the Transcript Button: Scroll down within the expanded description. You should see a section or button labeled "Show transcript." Click on it.
View the Transcript: The full transcript will appear in a pane on the right side of the video player.
- You can click on any line of the text to jump to that specific part of the video.
- To remove the timestamps, click the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top right of the transcript pane and select "Toggle timestamps."

Mobile Users (YouTube App)

Open the Video: Launch the YouTube app on your smartphone or tablet and open the video you're interested in.
Expand the Description: Below the video player, look for the title and channel name. Tap on the video's title or the "...more" button (sometimes a downward arrow or "...more" next to the view count) to open the full description.
Find the Transcript Button: Scroll down within the expanded description. You will find a section labeled "Transcript" with a "Show transcript" button. Tap it.
View the Transcript: The description box will be replaced with the full transcript of the video, which you can scroll through.
- Similar to the desktop version, you can tap on any line of the text to jump to that moment in the video.

💡 Pro Tip: Once you've accessed the transcript, you can select and copy the text to use as input for generating your quiz. For longer videos, you might need to copy the transcript in sections.
