To use YouTube videos as content for your quizzes, you'll need to access the video transcript. Here's how to find and copy manually YouTube transcripts for past in Content Box for Quiz creation:

Desktop Users (YouTube Website)

  1. Open the Video: Go to the YouTube website in your web browser and open the video you want to view the transcript for.
  2. Expand the Description: Underneath the video title and channel name, you will see the video description. Click on "...more" or "Show more" to expand the full description box.
  3. Find the Transcript Button: Scroll down within the expanded description. You should see a section or button labeled "Show transcript." Click on it.
  4. View the Transcript: The full transcript will appear in a pane on the right side of the video player.
    • You can click on any line of the text to jump to that specific part of the video.
    • To remove the timestamps, click the three-dot menu (β‹―) at the top right of the transcript pane and select "Toggle timestamps."
